Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Linen Rooms Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our linen department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the linen room staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and distributing linens and supplies.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all linens meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for linen purchases and department operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and collection of linens.
- Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, usage, and replacement.
- Implement and enforce proper handling and storage procedures to maximize linen lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the linen room.
- Resolve any linen-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in linen management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in linen management or a related hospitality role.
- Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or resort setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of textile care, maintenance, and industry standards.
- Excellent inventory management and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and move linens and supplies as needed.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
