Job description / Role
As part of my client's continued efforts to align with Vision 2030, they are looking to appoint a Local Content Manager to lead and drive strategic initiatives that enhance local participation, build national capabilities, and strengthen compliance with local content regulations across the organisation.

Description
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and implementing local content strategies across all business units. The role plays a vital part in ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks, achieving target scores, and embedding local content as a core pillar of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Local Content Governance: Lead the execution of local content initiatives, ensuring adherence to national regulations and alignment with predefined local content score targets.
* Strategic Planning: Develop proactive strategies for future local content requirements, identifying risks and opportunities while ensuring readiness across the organisation.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders-particularly HR, Procurement, and Finance-to ensure cross-functional integration of local content objectives.
* Performance Monitoring: Track, report, and communicate progress on local content performance to executive leadership. Provide recommendations to bridge gaps and drive continuous improvement.
* Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of local content activities and ensure timely reporting to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of best practices and evolving regulations, identifying ways to enhance local content performance and exceed minimum thresholds.

Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional with significant experience in local content strategy, ideally within a government or regulated sector in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of local content frameworks, compliance standards, and cross-functional integration. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical capabilities are essential.
* Minimum of 10-15 years of experience, with a strong background in local content, supply chain, procurement, or government affairs
* Proven track record of delivering results within complex, matrixed organisations
* Deep understanding of Vision 2030 initiatives and local content regulations in the Kingdom
* Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
