Scope of Service: Adult Hematology Unit (E-1)

HOURS OF OPERATION: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
No. of Beds: 15

The Adult Hematology Unit is an acute 15 bed unit. The patient population includes Saudi and Non-Saudi nationals, 14 years of age and older.

Patients are admitted with various hematological disorders, including:
* Acute and Chronic Leukemia
* Aplastic Anemia
* Multiple Myeloma
* Sickle Cell Anemia
* Burkitt's Lymphoma
* Thalassemia
* Myelodysplastic Syndrome
* ITP; TTP
* Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation
* Bone Marrow Donors
* Post BMT supportive treatments

E-1 serves supervision from senior staff nurses to nursing students, including interns and interim staff nurses.

Requirements

* Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin
* Two years recent acute care nursing experience in Adult Haematology.
