Job description / Role
Objectives: To effectively coordinate with the Transportation, shipping agents, insurance agents, all the concerned internal and external departments, third-party logistics (3PLs) service providers, and to proactively address and resolve any shipping issues to ensure on-time shipments. Also to take care of procurement activity of the company by dealing with material and service providers.
Responsibilities & Tasks :
- Efficiently execute the shipments, the hub distribution plan, and notify stakeholders of any delays.
- Coordinate with the Saudi Customs Department and other concerned departments internally and externally.
- Deal with the insurance agencies.
- Take care of all procurement activities.
- Monitor Logistics methodologies of shipping/loading equipment, Capabilities of workers
- Monitor land transit transportation with transporters for the direct sales
- Communicate and co-ordinate with the concerned in RMEA, Vendors, Shipping and Customs to fulfill orders/shipments requirements
- Issue Reports required by management for logistics, including prepare KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) accordingly
- Monitor related deliveries orders completions in the system
- Establishes and maintains a database of local, national and international forwarders and suppliers.
Requirements
- University Degree (commerce or equivalent)
- Knowledge of logistics; to include international commercial terms (INCO), international container shipping, hub management, international customs requirements, and freight forwarding.
- Managing third-party logistics service providers.
- Knowledge of supply chain performance metrics and import / export abstract.
- Thorough understanding of procurement business.

The production facility is in advance stage of construction in Jubail, Saudi Arabia with an initial annual production capacity of the following product streams: 1. Reprocessed synthetic rubber materials 2. Prime polyolefin compounds and masterbatches 3. Modified materials derived from both elastomeric and plastic offgrade raw materials
