What you'll be doing

As a Logistics Director, you will operationally manage the Distribution Centers and the B2B Last Mile Distribution in the country. You will be responsible for the efficient movement of goods, inventory management and ensuring timely delivery of products. The primary goal is to improve operational efficiency, run the operations in a cost-efficient manner and ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the VP Logistics, you will drive delivery of all targeted business plan metrics across productivity, quality, cost, safety, and people for the country logistics operations. You will create and build upon operational plans, drive a mind-set and culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen and Lean initiatives and sustain a culture of learning and development

As part of your operational responsibilities you will :
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the group's objectives.
- Forecast and plan future logistics needs based on business growth and demand trends.
- Oversee Logistics process, including warehousing, fulfilment, inventory management, and B2B distribution.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize the supply chain and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and improve logistics processes and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure that all operations adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee fleet management, transportation, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Distribution centers and Last mile.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, focusing on cost reduction and optimization.
- Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations to minimize operating expenses.
- Implement and manage logistics software and tools for tracking, reporting, and analytics.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations to improve logistics efficiency.
- Ensure that logistics operations meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of delivery times and inventory accuracy.
- Resolve issues related to delivery delays, inventory shortages, or customer complaints.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations.
- Regularly report on logistics performance to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- You would have at least 8+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 3 in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

- Would possess strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- You would have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- You would have knowledge of logistics regulations and compliance standards.
- You would already be residing in KSA, possessing a transferable residency
- You would speak Arabic and English fluently
