Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Project Execution Plan (PEP):
• Develop the Logistics specific PEP section 6-Logistics Management and ensure full coverage of the ASS contracted Scope of Works in terms of deliverables, acceptance criteria, reporting and escalation protocols, and collaborative best working practices
• Lead the implementation of the Logistics specific sections of the PEP both up and down the supply chain
• Update and revise the Logistics specific sections of the PEP, as required from time-to-time to mitigate project delivery risks and resolve any specific issues

Role specific deliverable responsibilities in accordance with Scope of Works/PEP are as follows:
• ASS Subcontractor GPT Premises pass applications (excel based register maintained up-to-date in the PMIS)
• Permanent and Temporary Site pass applications (excel based register maintained up-to-date in the PMIS)
• Subcontract Site Visit accompanied by the ASS Site Based Project Manger (excel based register maintained up-to-date in the PMIS)
• Subcontractor Site Visit Unaccompanied site pass applications (excel based register maintained up-to-date in the PMIS)
• Government Furnished Application (excel based register maintained up¬ to-date in the PMIS)
• IPDN Pre-Survey Information (excel based register maintained up-to-date in PMIS)

Main Responsibilities:

Management Information Reports:
• Establish Logistics related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for inclusion in regular management reports
• Provide Logistics related sections of regular weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly reports in timely support of the F+G Senior Project Controls Manager

Team Leadership:
• Maintain as needed the role profiles of the Logistics Assistant Manager
• Provide day-to-day supervision, prioritisation and workload management of the above team members
• Ensure that team members fully comply in a timely manner with all project time-keeping, timesheet recording and exceptional reporting requirements

Other:
• Carry out Performance Development Reviews of team members
• Carry out interviews for vacant positions as required

Decision Making Authority:
• Authorised signatory on all day-to-day Logistics matters (such as forms, checklists, minutes of meeting, etc.) concerning IPND Stage 3 - Project Delivery Services as delegated by the F+G Senior Programme Manager
• Zero commercial authority (e.g. regarding variation orders) Zero transactional authority (e.g. no budget to spend)
• Draft letters for F+G Senior Programme Manager and/or the F+G Project Leader signature, where there is a clear scope, time, cost and quality impact on the IPND Stage 3 Project Delivery Services, or upon the AS5 contractual agreement
• Line Management of the F+G Assistant Logistics Manager
• Atkins AS 5 Lot 2 team leaders on Logistics matters as appropriate
• Co-ordination Managers for AS1, AS2 & AS3 on Logistics matters as appropriate

Communications and Working Relationships:
• GPT counterparts and other GPT technical personnel through regular meetings& workshops as appropriate to Logistics matters
• GPT Senior Management presentations, meetings and workshops as required to accompany the F+G Senior Programme Manager and/or F+G Project Leader on Logistics matters
• SANGCOM presentations, meetings and workshops as required to accompany the F+G Senior Programme Manager and/or F+G Project Leader on Logistics matters

Requirements

• 10 years of minimum experience in the relevant field
• Bachelore degree as minimum
