Client is looking for HSE Design Engineer
Industry: Oil, Gas and Chemical
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:
• Work on projects of advanced scope for HSE activities; duties may include preparation of design HSE deliverables, the preparation
• of supporting HSE documents and execution of project specific HSE activities.
• Apply regulatory requirements to provide recommendations for project management; assist in
• monitoring implementation of design HSE requirements stipulated in applicable codes and HSE standards, applicable laws and regulations; and reviewing the project design to confirm compliance with all HSE requirements.
• Prepare scope of work or performance and document work requiring independent evaluation,
• selection, and adaptation/modification of advanced techniques, procedures and criteria, for example, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), coordination and execution of Safety Cases (SC) and support studies, Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Fire Protection Specifications (FPS), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and perform
• analysis of regulations against project needs of advanced scope so that design will comply with regulations.

Requirements:

Requirements/Qualification:
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in the engineering field of study and four (4) years minimum of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field is a bonus.
• Must have solid design experience in fire protection engineering having ideally worked for a HCIS approved consultant / EPC contractor
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national
• statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Experience with Middle East projects
• Design EPC contractors experience.

Salary:
SAR 21,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
