Position overview

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of M&A to lead and execute investment initiatives in Riyadh. This role is ideal for a seasoned investment professional with a strong track record in sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions across sectors. The VP will play a key role in shaping the firm's growth strategy and will work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of investment opportunities aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling, market research, and risk analysis to support investment decisions.
• Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee and senior stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with investment banks, advisors, legal counsel, and other external partners.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support post-deal integration and value creation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 7-10+ years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
• Proven track record of leading successful M&A transactions, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
