Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Summary
• Upon receipt of any maintenance request (Notification) the Maintenance Planner is responsible for the detailed planning and preparation activities to ensure that the execution of the maintenance request can be performed safely with the optimal resources in the shortest duration within the agreed timeframe.

Major Duties / Responsibilities
• Upon receipt, convert notifications into work orders in SAP.
• Organize weekly planning meeting to discuss maintenance orders of assigned area with maintenance coordinator, supervisor, operation supervisor and specialty to clarify scope of work and organize next week schedule.
• Communicate with maintenance coordinator to identify require outside service contracts, spare parts, materials and special tools required that are required to do the job.
• Create Service PR for any required services and follow up with Purchasing.
• Reserve required material if it is available as stock spare and ask supervisor to collect.
• Create sub order to central workshop planners to any service that are required from
• Overhauling and fabrication activities at Workshop
• Plan and schedule plants preventative maintenance orders.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedule and send to field maintenance supervisor, coordinator, operation supervisor and specialist.
• Create material PR for non-stock material and follow up with Purchasing.
• Load work center activities (Operation accounts) into order and assign resource quantities as required.
• Once job is ready for scheduling, flag it in the system for upload into central schedule as per the agreed time frame.
• Update completed tasks in the SAP system on a daily basis.
• Ensure that work history is captured within the notification (Failure codes etc.)
• Ensure that work orders and notifications get closed after completion without delay.
• Update the order in SAP with proper user status.
• Communicate to Operation for overdue PM to be deferred.
• Coordinate spares refurbishment.
• Refurbished material returns back to warehouse as stock material.
• Updating the equipment Bill of material.
• Create the request through spare finder for the non-inventory items to
• Any assignment from management from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
• Academic - Diploma or equivalent
• Related Work Experience (type and years)
• Recognized maintenance craftsmen with at least 5 years plus planning experience
• 5 years plus multi-disciplined planning experience in a Petrochemical Environment

Additional / Specialized Training
• Excellent working knowledge of SAP, PM Module

Language Skills
• Excellent communication skills
