We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join Eastern Region Terminal Maintenance Department.

The Eastern Region Terminal Maintenance Department is responsible for performing maintenance planning and scheduling activities at the industrial area (crude tank farm) to preserve assets, i.e., rotating equipment, structures, buildings, electrical equipment, substations, valves, etc.

Your primary role will be to perform all maintenance scheduling and planning functions which include routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance types, in addition to planning for projects and T&I (what is T&I).

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:

  • Optimize plant reliability, workforce productivity, and quality through planning and coordination of people, resources, and spare parts materials.
  • Identify improvements for effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Liaise with line maintenance, engineering, and operations to incorporate maintenance initiatives and best practices.
  • Utilize scheduled downtime to undertake shutdown activities in line with established schedules and budgets.
  • Assist in budget forecasting.
  • Assist in maintenance strategy development and supporting documentation reviews.

Minimum Requirements

  • You must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, technical engineer diploma, or any maintenance craft program.
  • You will have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a maintenance planner in the hydrocarbon maintenance industry.
  • You will have planning skills that will ensure maintenance schedules are kept and effective utilization of resources are maintained.
  • Demonstrating full understanding of maintenance KPI.
  • A demonstrated working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems, such as SAP.
  • Experience in forecasting budgets, managing costs, and reporting on performance to budget.
