Job description / Role
The opportunity will provide the Maintenance Technician with a number of significant responsibilities and challenging projects that will make a direct impact in the industry. The successful candidate will need to apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic, and electrical testing on a day to day basis. Strong performances will be recognized and rewarded.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lay out, build, test, and troubleshoot electronic components, parts, switches, panels, and electronic equipment and systems.
• Repair and modify electrical components.
• Discuss procedures and problems with engineering personnel and draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
• Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion.
• Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
• Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
• Plan, direct, and record periodic testing.
• Analyze and interpret test data.
• Diagnose cause of electronic or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance
• Know and understand the company's Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of the company.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
• Technical degree or license required (Minimum high school degree)
• 1-3 years experience working with electronics
• Experience with coil tubing units
• Demonstrate a understanding of data acquisition parameters and
• Experience should include configuration basics, troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Should be able to explain the different parameters monitored by data acquisition systems
OTHER SKILLS:
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyse problems
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Need to be able to read English manuals and liaise with suppliers in English
