Asset Planning and Business Casing - Major Project- Riyadh, KSA

The Manager of asset planning & business casing will ensure that the sector's 5 & 10 year plan substantiate and reflect the approved strategy. This person will work with key sector partners to model business concepts, assets and projects that align to the sector's business objectives & strategy. The role will cover the Media industries, Entertainment and Culture economic sectors - covering the respective assets (including, but not limited to, film studios, TV studios, industry learning facilities, offices, investment, themed attractions, water parks, museums, performance venues, live events, and others).

- Build assets' and broad sector offering's financial models/business plans covering capex, P&L, detailing business models and revenue streams, and generating analysis to all relevant financial metrics and ratios
- Serve as a key business partner to sector leaders on strategic initiatives, leading business modeling and financial analysis
- Detail all inputs and assumptions, with benchmark and specialist pressure-testing, to ensure that models are to high standard of sophistication
- Understand market trends to inform strategic direction and modelling
- Own the strategy & modelling output, requirements development, and landscape analysis to support business objectives - this should include competitive intelligence, industry analysis, and market dynamics and trends
- Develop deep understanding of industry trends as well as competitive threats and opportunities
- Partner with required internal stakeholders (e.g., FP&A, Accounting) specialists to understand guiding principles and required input from a sector perspective
- Support financial review meetings with sector leadership and other domains (e.g., FP&A) on 5- and 10-year business planning discussions
- Collaborate with other team members to incorporate investment cases within the model
- Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock growth and provide clarity towards execution
- Identify, shape and manage engagement with industry specialists, subject matter experts and strategy consultants, when appropriate, to ensure we get maximum value and full knowledge transfer
- Independently manage a cross-functional initiatives by developing detailed project plans with activity based milestones
- Build cross-functional relationships to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of sector
- Regularly present analyses and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders

Requirements

- Preferable experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or in Strategy & Financial Planning functions (7+ years)
- A strong communicator able to influence decisions with impactful presentation skills; able to present sophisticated analysis, logical reasoning, with grounded alternatives to senior management
- Excellent prioritization skills and a true passion for delivering service of the highest standards
- Adaptive and able to thrive in a constantly evolving environment
- Business judgement capable of driving a diverse organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic approach
- Superb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
- fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidate must be willing to "roll up their sleeves" and be motivated, disciplined, flexible and able to work effectively autonomously.
- Experience in large scale projects
- Proven experience at top management and Board engagements

Qualifications
- BS / BA degree, MBA preferred - at top tier institution
