Description

As the digital lead - transportation for the cableway system at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will spearhead the digital transformation of our cableway transportation services. This pivotal role will involve the integration of advanced technologies and intelligent systems to create a seamless and efficient travel experience for our visitors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative digital solutions, ensuring the operational excellence and sustainability of the cableway system.

Requirements

• Lead the digital strategy for the cableway transportation system, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and user experience.
• Design and implement digital solutions that enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the cableway system.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate smart technologies (e.g., IoT, data analytics, and automation) into the cableway operations.
• Utilize data to develop insights and actionable recommendations for performance improvements and service enhancements.
• Oversee the user experience design process, ensuring services meet and exceed visitor expectations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for digital initiatives within the cableway system.
• Engage with stakeholders and supply chain to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Provide support where required for third parties to understand the requirements.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the cableway system at the cutting edge of digital innovation.
• Implement BIM procedures in line with ISO 19650 during design, construction, and handover for assigned assets/projects.
• Demonstrate positive workplace behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya values, at all times.
• Contribute to object library development in alignment with wider digital infrastructure strategy.
• Provide support to project teams to set up and maintain BIM projects.
• Be responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model.
• Support 4D and 5D construction sequencing and cost strategy using information models.
• Support training on using databases, analyzing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
• Ensure the implementation and management of a common data environment to international standards, through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Assist with the evaluation of RFP proposals and provide necessary support to the TBU.
• Be responsible for information quality in Aconex.
• Aid in the production of drawings and sketches as required by the team.
• Perform all other tasks required in the team.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience within BIM roles, preferably within transportation or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in transportation systems.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies, including Agile and traditional frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• A passion for developing user-centric digital solutions and enhancing customer experience.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills in English.
