Manager LCL Seafreight - Jeddah

YOUR ROLE

The purpose of this role is development and Management of the LCL (less-than-container-load) services to / from Saudi Arabia / Bahrain, negotiating contracts/rates with subcontractor (CFS, Master-Loader, Trucking Comp.) and increasing the number of direct consolidation services to/from Saudi Arabia / Bahrain.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Create controlling functions for "volume/utilization" of consolidation container and react to any red-flags
* Develop our consolidation services continuously in line with the regional targets
* Support our sales team with mutual sales calls as well as suitable solutions/pricing.
* Meet/visit customers (mainly LCL) frequently to intensify the relationship and/or secure new business.
* Review the PL results (LCL-E/LCL-I) frequently and make proposal for better results
* Support the Pricing Team on LCL-RFQs with pricing ideas and partly "hands-on"
* Follow and enforce the KN Compliance Rules and the overall KN Guidelines and Working Instruction within the import teams.

Requirements

* You own a College or University degree
* Preferably you have 2-5 years of international experience in Sea Logistics
* You have experience in Sales
* You are skilled in MS Office
* Your spoken and written English are on an advanced level
* You are willing to travel both nationally and internationally
* You always seek operational excellence
