POSITION: Marble & Chandelier Technician
START DATE: October 2020

12 Month Renewable Contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grinds and polishes stone to smooth or lustrous finish, using portable grinding and polishing tool
• Polishing marble products on counters, skirting, thresholds, step & risers.
• Follows orders as per order and complete as per salesman or foreman orders
• Responsible for final product
• Grinds and polishes stone to smooth or lustrous finish, using portable grinding and polishing tool
• Rubs stone surfaces that cannot be finished by machine or portable tool with abrasive blocks to smooth or polish stone.
• When surfacing marble, fills cracks or imperfections in stone with wax that matches colour of stone.
• May be designated according to type of stone polished as Granite Polisher, Hand; Marble Polisher; Hand
• Using isopropyl and water with dish soap to clean individual parts of chandelier via hand upon removing
• Repair and restore lamps and chandeliers
• Strip and polish fireplace doors and hung pieces for paint line assemblers
• Apply solutions and chemicals to equipment, objects, or parts using hand tools
• Prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools
• Polish and assemble finished products upon receiving from being shipped in
• Inspect parts assemblies for adherence to quality standard

Requirements

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Deep Cleaning experience (Marble polishing experience, Carpet, Sofa, Mattress, Chandelier, Floor, Glass, ETC Cleaning, etc.), particularly in post-construction scenarios is essential
• Candidate shall have sufficient experience in marble & hard floor polishing works along with chandeliers and shall be competent in manual and mechanical tools application
• Candidate must have at least 1 years of experience in marble polishing Restoration and repair of Marble and Chandelier
• Fluent English language and other language skills as appropriate
• A positive attitude combined with the ability to communicate fluently with colleagues
• Good knowledge of scrubbing, jet washer steamer machines experience.
• Using various power hand tools
• General maintenance site support after work hours.
• Ability to follow prescribed programs and standards
• Continuous improvement mentality
• Desire to help grow and develop the program and the business
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy
• Ability to safely operate all tools and equipment in the fabricating shop and on the installation truck
• Non-smoker preferred and no visible Tattoos
