Position Overview

• We are seeking an ambitious, talented, organized Marketing Specialist to join our growing company. In this role, your talent and efforts will be essential to the day-to-day management and successful completion of exciting, high-profile project, and company.
• He / she will work closely with The Project Manager and will build diverse experience in the various areas of the project related to Marketing, sales and distribution.
• A marketing specialist’s aim is to help the company to figure out what sells, how it sells and in which channels, classes and distribution networks and outlets.
• The marketing specialists and research analysts will have their finger on the pulse of what sells around the country.

Specific Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
• To analyze demographic data, buying and shopping habits, looking at a competitors and their pricing for better understanding market trends and dynamics.
• To create and administrate surveys, questionnaires and other information gathering devices, measuring current strategies and much more, all in an effort to help expertly understand the best way to market products and make the company money
• Responsible of analyzing market data on a local, regional, or national level, and determine what people are buying, what gaps are in the market, what type of people buy what products, and what people are willing to spend on those products and various packages

Requirements

Preferred Education/Experience
• 4-year degree (Bachelor’s degree) preferably in communications, marketing, advertising, or PR, Math skills are key to this job, and most companies want at least a bachelor's degree in market research or a similar field, such as math, statistics or computer science.
• A minimum of 4 years’ association or related experience in product sales and marketing is preferred.
• Product sales and marketing experience highly desired, especially in FMCG, and preferably in bottled water manufacturing, soft drinks, food, and beverages industries and at least 3 years' related work experience is required.

Skills/Competencies
• Analytical Skills: To look at many streams of data to determine the demographics and buying trends of current and potential customers, and understanding and interpreting it into information is critical to the job
• Communication: When gathering and presenting information, marketing specialists need to be able to talk and listen well
• Critical-Thinking: Being able to process the data in a way to make recommendations takes critical thinking
• Attention to Detail: Analyzing data to show trends takes precision
• Saudi / GCC work experience, in a reputable FMCG company, with valid driving license
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic
• Marketing/sales skills with proven business outcomes
• Experience with bottled water technical topics highly desired
• Experience with market research, development, implementation, media tools, networks and electronic media and evaluation of sales/marketing plans
• Experience with direct marketing
• Exceptional project management skills
• Experience working with survey tools
• Database management experience required
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
