Marketing Executive - Saudi Arabia

Job Summary: To maximise the outbound travel to Britain from the high potential growth market Saudi Arabia by executing and localizing the VB Middle East B2B & B2C plans from a Riyadh base. To maintain trade and media relationships and form and maintain a successful KAM system in market.

Responsible for coordinating marketing operations in partnership with trade partners as well as supporting local public diplomacy partners on relevant marketing opportunities. To provide excellent market intelligence and customer insights.

Championing tourism to Britain
- Engaged with VB’s strategy and vision and can demonstrably contribute towards delivering these
- Able to focus on a clear goal in all actions and decisions and openly articulate this to your team colleagues
- A true advocate for Britain and tourism

Being the best
- Good knowledge of Britain’s tourism product and VB’s business with enthusiasm to constantly update skills and knowledge
- Keen to share own and VB’s expertise with external organisations and individuals
- Awareness that VB is a public body which needs to deliver and demonstrate value and probity in everything we do

Requirements

- 2-3 years’ commercial background with understanding of tourism sector or related sector
- Understanding and experience of key account management in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload efficiently
- Comfortable with data and using an analytical approach to decision-making
- Effective communication and presentation skills with both internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent written & spoken English essential
- Fluency in written & spoken Arabic
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent proficiency across all Microsoft Office applications
