Job description / Role
Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Services GCC, the role will be responsible for leading marketing services for assigned clients for company based in Saudi Arabia.
This is a pivotal role ensuring the effective engagement of marketing services with client partners (financial institutions, merchants and, FinTechs), with the goal of achieving company’s business and brand objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic planning, development and implementation of annual/multi-year plans of the Country as well as Client Marketing agenda across KSA. In doing so, leverage company’s Sponsorship assets, partnerships and advisory services:
• Responsible for developing the country marketing strategy for KSA across company’s business priorities including but not limited to driving cross-border, growing premium and accelerating eCommerce volumes.
• Translate the strategy into a comprehensive country and client marketing plan in alignment with overall Marketing and cross-functional goals.
• Lead strengthening of company’s Brand Health in KSA
• Identify new market opportunities that will increase value-added services to clients and cardholders
• Adapt and develop global and regional Marketing initiatives to address local market opportunities or needs, ensure relevance and effectiveness within KSA.
• Support the activation of global sponsorship and product platform initiatives across KSA
• Establish, develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead/build/engage relationship with Head of Marketing and Head of Business for all client marketing initiatives including government marketing officials, entertainment authority, ministry of tourism and key merchants
• Lead planning and delivery on all Marketing VIK (Value-in-Kind) plans and targets with a focus on efficiency and client value, partnering with internal and external partners.
• Influence and gain the support of client banks to participate in company marketing activities, through a high level of collaboration, influence and negotiation.
Requirements:

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to leverage insights and data to create engagement opportunities and drive strategic outcomes.
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Ability to build relationships with clients and partners, and influence/negotiate effectively.
• Significant experience in marketing with a strong campaign planning and implementation, marketing planning, target-setting and strong track record of flawless execution and delivery.
• Strong understanding of key P&L drivers to build effective business cases.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance marketing practices
• Demonstrated track record in the management of external clients, agencies, and the development of through the line campaign materials.
• Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy.
• Strong understanding of the region, multicultural sensitivity and a commitment to drive an inclusive culture.
• Candidate must be open to travel as relevant within Company’s safety and security policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Retail banking, cards marketing and FMCG experience is advantageous.
• Master in Business, Management, Advertising or equivalent degree / diploma.
• Proven relationship management skills.
• Excellent performance in marketing management (5-8 years experience in Marketing).
