Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage, direct, and control manufacturing and materials planning and scheduling, and inventory control activities to accomplish SEL policy and promote SEL culture.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional efforts with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing and Project Management departments to develop and implement solutions to improve manufacturing productivity and operational costs.
- Develop and utilize capacity planning tools to analyze and report short and long term space, equipment, and labor requirements to management.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Manufacturing to create and execute supply chain management strategies for Panel integration.
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance Managers to develop and review monthly production demand forecast.
- Manage materials forecasting function and inventory stocking levels to ensure cost-effective flow of material and assemblies through the manufacturing process.
- Develop and maintain production plans and capacity models.
- Create and maintain planning BOMs and materials forecasts.
- Monitor and adjust production release rates.
- Calculate manufacturing capacity constraints.
- Prepare and conduct advanced statistical analysis using product and process data.
- Create and maintain reports and charts as required.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Experience in the manufacturing of Protection and Automation Panels
- 4-year degree (Business, Operations Management, or Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 4-Five years of experience supervising planning, scheduling, and production control activities in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Strong computer software skills with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and Word
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and technical planning skills
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
