Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Support/participate in Emergency Drills and Exercises as required
- Overall ownership of material ordering and availability
- Communication with suppliers - packaging, min/max planning, as they relate to old/existing parts
- Initiate PR’s for direct charge material request.
- Provide non stock materials thru Street Buying request.
- Initiate PR’s for materials requested through Dialog or IDAR.
- Follow-up the replenishment of zero stock materials in Warehouse.
- Initiate RFM for all identified materials without SAP ID’s
- Initiate MRO Change Request for any modification required in material specification
- Initiate MRO Change Request for any modification required in material specification
- Inform the material requestor once the requested material has SAP ID’s issued
- Assist the End User and Planners to search the correct materials in the system
- Update the Equipment BOM in SAP.
- Follow-up overdue materials for delivery to Procurement Department
- Communicate with Logistics or Supplier to provide the latest delivery status of urgent materials
- Follow-up and provide update for Weekly Critical Material Reports
- Follow-up materials in Work Orders with WONM status to reduce backlog.
- Inform the End Users for material inspections and collections once the materials arrived in warehouse
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Investigation material shortage root cause, includes expediting or obsolescence processing
- Comply with the S-Chem Quality Management System

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in engineering in the area of specialization (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrument) is needed.

EXPERIENCE
- 8 years of filed maintenance work experience in petrochemical industry.
- Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP) or Associates degree (or local equivalent) in a business related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of MRP and inventory control.

SKILLS
- Knowledge of computer utilization, engineering standards specification and reading of engineering drawing.
