Mechanical Convoy Supervisor

They are urgently looking for a Mechanical Convoy Supervisor to work in Riyadh.

Objectives
- To supervise and coordinate the use of all plant necessary for the erection of the trackslab, according to;:
- Technical drawings and specification
- Within the forecast resources
- Within the programme
- According to the detailed method statements
- In line with the QC standards
- In line with HSE requirement

Duties & Responsibilities
- The Supervisor mainline is responsible for the daily organisation on his site, in regard to workers, tools and plants and all HSE.
- Support the Chief Superintendent so the works can be carried out as per schedule, within the budget, in line with the quality standards and as per health and safety requirements.
- Daily organisation of the plant on site
- Daily management of operators and plant on his site
- Production of quality control records
- Issue daily reports related to staff/labour/plant and progress of the works
- Reporting to the Chief superintendent any abnormal situation related HSE, personnel, progress, procurement, plant.
- Brief and insure that the foreman has understood their briefed task perfectly.
- Support and coordinate with the Tools & plant manager to ensure that both regular and corrective maintenance is carried out in a timely way
- Check that quality requirements are complied with by spot checks. Ensure that non conformities are opened.
- Closely communicate with the survey manager in regard to the needs of the setting outs and other reference points needed for installation of the track components.

Requirements

- Civil/mechanical technical education.
- Speak, read and write English
- Minimum 5 years experience in concrete works, preferably related to trackworks.
- Experience with mechanized concrete slab installation, preferably experience with rail systems on concrete superstructures,
- Experience with erection of concrete slab
- Basic knowledge of concrete.
- Good knowledge of mechanised concrete slab construction methodology.
- Experience with work train management.

- Initiative and decision minded
- Team spirit approach and good communication skills.
- Working hours are 10 days a week, 6 weeks per week
- Night shifts could be necessary
