Overview

Saudi Aramco is seeking for a Mechanical Engineer with hands on experience to work in Mechanical Services Shops Department / Planning and Technical Services Division with experience on additive manufacturing technique of robotic laser technology. Candidate must have expertise of well know how of additive material used for laser cladding for repair of damage parts related to rotating equipment. In addition, must have expertise of the rotating equipment design, materials, operating function and international standards, and good knowledge of powder-based laser systems.

MSSD has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset, which is the department's skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain Saudi Aramco's rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment. Once qualified for the position you will be at the heart of one of the most advanced energy companies around the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Determine laser cladding requirements and can establish priorities for maintenance work.

Analyzes requests for HVOF coating and laser cladding in his area and Recommends work which can be economically assigned to contractor organizations and develops scope of work.

Develops and reviews machining schedules in detail; verifies initial estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work.

Reviews and verifies adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during work progress.

Ensure completeness of scope of work, drawings and list of materials.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Material Engineering with a minimum of Ten years' hands on experience.

Candidate must have the following field experience requirements:

Practical knowledge and experience in laser cladding and welding, good knowledge of the rotating equipment design, materials, operating function and international standards, and good knowledge of powder-based laser systems.

Candidate must have excellent English reading and writing.
