Responsible for:

Planning and executing the Union's media and marketing projects to ensure strategic objectives are achieved. This includes managing media campaigns, marketing content, events, and media partnerships to enhance brand perception and increase outreach.

Scope of Authority:

This position does not include supervisory duties.

Director of Media and Marketing

Experience: 5-7 years (minimum)
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree

To lead and execute media and marketing projects for the Union according to approved strategies, ensuring media goals are achieved, and promoting the Union locally, regionally, and internationally through various media and marketing platforms.

Managing and executing media and marketing projects to enhance the Union's presence and achieve its strategic goals through effective campaign planning, content oversight, and media relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project or marketing management.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage crises.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning for Media and Marketing Projects:

  • Develop comprehensive execution and marketing plans aligned with Union goals.
  • Analyze target audience needs and design strategies to address them.
  • Establish precise timelines and budgets for projects.

Campaign Management:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate marketing and media content across multiple platforms, including social media, newspapers, television, and websites.
  • Collaborate with media agencies and advertising companies for effective campaign execution.

Media and Marketing Content Management:

  • Oversee the production of media materials like press releases, articles, newsletters, and promotional videos.
  • Ensure content consistency with the Union's identity and enhance brand perception.
  • Regularly monitor and update published content according to best practices.

Analysis and Performance Measurement:

  • Track and analyze media and marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
  • Present detailed performance reports, including ROI analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor trends and innovations in the media and marketing sectors and suggest creative ideas.

Public Relations and Media Partnerships:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with local and international media.
  • Negotiate with media partners and sponsors to ensure broad event coverage.
  • Represent the Union at conferences and media forums to enhance its reputation.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute press conferences and promotional workshops.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure proper media coverage.
  • Supervise the media team during sporting and promotional events.

Internal Relations Management:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure media integration across the Union's activities.
  • Support event teams with promotional and media materials.
  • Provide media support for various sports programs and initiatives.

Social Media Oversight:

  • Develop content strategies for social media platforms to ensure continuous engagement.
  • Monitor audience interactions and enhance follower loyalty.
  • Apply modern digital marketing strategies to raise brand awareness.

Coordination with Suppliers and Contractors:

  • Manage contracts with media production and digital marketing companies.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and required quality in project delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of marketing and media projects.
  • Document project results and provide presentations to senior management.
  • Ensure media and marketing materials are systematically archived.
