Job description / Role
The Project Director will manage all construction/delivery activities, from commencement through to completion acting as the Contractor's Representative, making critical decisions on the delivery of the Project.
Client is a diversified business group with its HQ in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They have been operational for nearly 40 years with interests in the Construction industry, Automobiles trading, Telecommunications and Hospital management.
Description
* Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the project to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
* Establish staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
* Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
* Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
* Coordinate project activities with Govt. regulatory or other agencies.
* Responsible for overall quality and management of the project.
* Oversee budget and ensure financial accountability.
* Recognise and solve potential problems and evaluate project effectiveness.
* Established project procedures for and ensure procedures meet project goals.

Requirements
* Must possess technical expertise in the complete cycle of an airport project from inception to design and construction and completion - terminal, airside and landside.
* Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* At least 5 year's experience in delivering airport projects - terminal, airside & landside as a Project Director.
* Minimum 20 years of Industry experience of which the last 5 years must have been in the Middle East.
* Main contractor experience is mandatory.
* Must be able to build successful relationships with superiors, vendors, consultants and client representatives.
* Must have a successful track record in risk management, conflict resolution, have a positive attitude and a propensity for collaborative teamwork.
* Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
