MEP Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

Our client, a well-established Saudi main contractor, is seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to join their team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of MEP works across large-scale projects, including data centre facilities, ensuring effective cost management, compliance with contract terms, and protection of the company’s financial interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all commercial activities related to MEP works across multiple projects, including data centres.
• Oversee tendering, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiation.
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and cash flow for MEP packages.
• Handle claims, variations, and change management in line with contract requirements.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and KSA regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 12–15 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial role.
• Strong MEP background with proven experience on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Main contractor experience in the Middle East (KSA experience preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage large project values and multiple project portfolios.

Salary:
SAR 50,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
