MEP Estimation Engineer's - Mechanical & Electrical
Our client, a construction contracting company in Saudi requires 2 MEP Estimation Engineer’s, 1 for Mechanical, 1 for Electrical disciplines to be based in Riyadh.
The main responsibilities will be for preparing the complete cost of estimation for MEP elements which includes; material, labor, erection equipment, testing/commissioning man hours, direct and indirect resources in line with BOQ, scope of work, project specs and standards. Study tender BOQ, quantities take off, sending enquiries to the / sub-contractors vendors to get competitive quotations. Assist the management for post tender commercial negotiations with client and vendors as well to reach competitive pricing.
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have a Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works in tendering and estimation. Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trades; Knowledge of construction procedures and practices; Will be computer literate with planning software expertise. You will possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
