Microsoft Engineer

Job description / Role

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Engineer on a part-time/remote basis to support a major Network Enhancement project based in Riyadh. This role is integral to the design, implementation, and testing of a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment, covering key services such as Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Please note this position is part-time and remote.

The ideal candidate will also play a key role in deploying and integrating Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure, conducting performance tuning, and driving disaster recovery initiatives across the IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test Microsoft infrastructure services including Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and SCCM.
• Deploy and manage the organization's Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to design and testing of Microsoft systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure effective integration with other systems.
• Monitor emerging Microsoft technologies and incorporate best practices.
• Perform performance tuning and implement disaster recovery plans for enterprise systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience administering and supporting enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Proven expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and SCCM.
• Deep understanding of Certificate Authority (CA) frameworks and best practices.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and systems management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience managing sub-contractor relationships and project deliverables.
• Self-motivated with a passion for technology and continuous improvement.
