National Warehouse Manager

Job description / Role

Objectives:
• Lead Warehouses Strategic & Operational Activities.

Main responsibilities:
• Ensure All Company Storage & Delivery Needs are met in Superior Quality and Agile Responses.
• Setup organizational goals in relation to the warehousing & Distribution operations.
• Manage Third Party Logistic Suppliers, Monitor their Performance as Per the agreed SLA.
• Develop & Implement SOP for inbound & Outbound Activities.
• Monitors the budget and reports to the Top Management on the current financial status of the department.
• Controls expenses and increases productivity while controlling potential damages.
• Implement quality procedures and ensure all employees are trained to handle the quality procedures.
• Provide Necessary Analysis and Reporting for Warehouses Performance
• Manage the daily work activities of the National Warehouse to ensure the receiving, breakdown, put away and dispatch of finished goods to Customers and internal warehouses.
• Monitors space utilization and layout to maximize usage.
• Monitors and controls inventory levels by planning and initiating periodic inventory counts.
• Ensures compliance with governmental regulations and requirements.
• Manage Annual/Monthly physical stock taking and reconciliation of stock differences.
• Manage daily activities and leads the warehouse staff to operate and facilitate the daily work of the distribution center.
• Investigating inventory shortages and discrepancies.
• Reporting to: Logistic Operations Senior Manager
• Subordinates: Warehouses Operational Teams.
• Number required: 1
• Duration: One Year contract
• Desired start date: 1-Sep-2018
• Probation: 3 Months
• Working Hours: Sun-Thursdays
• Travel requirements: Occasional Travel

Requirements

• University Qualifications: MSC/BSC Logistics Or Related Fileds
• Other certifications obtained: APIC Certificates are Prefered
• Nature and length of previous experience: 3-5 Years in Managerial Position;8-15 Years in Logistics Field
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Strong Leadership Skills.,Strong Communication Skills
• Specialist knowledge: Managing Logistics of Food Business is a plus.
• Quality , ISO Certificates are Plus
• Age Range: 30-45
• Gender Preference: Male
• Language Fluency: Excellant English, Arabic
• Current Location: Jeddah
