Job description / Role
Assess current state, determine gaps, design and implement process improvements, update documentation for processes, and design and implement QA and continuous improvement for security operations management of the following elements:
• Firewalls
• Next Generation Firewalls
• IDS/IPS
• Web Proxies
• SSL VPN
• NAC
• Email Security
• WAF
• Endpoint Protection
Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree in computer science, information systems or related field
• Cyber Security experience
• CISSP / CISA preferred
• Firewalls, CCNA, SSL VPN, site to site VPN, tcp/ip – ids/ips
• Strong working knowledge of operations practices in the context of Cybersecurity
• Proven knowledge of network infrastructure and network security
• Hands-on experience and insight to assure the proper application of standards and best practices regarding firewalls and ACL’s in an enterprise environment
• Experience with VPN tunnelling and administration.
• Knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Protection, Cisco / Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cisco ASA VPN, Juniper Pulse Secure VPN
