UNIT NAME: Home Health Care
CENSUS NUMBER OF: 170-190 Average
PATIENTS MEDICAL PROBLEMS:
All general medical conditions including CVA, COPD, Asthma, ventilator-dependent and all respiratory equipment-dependent, hypertension, pneumonia,Congestive Heart Failure, DVT, cancer, Pleural Effusion, Diabetes Mellitus,wound care,decubitus ulcers, paraplegics, quadriplegics, tracheostomy care,nephrology and neurology conditions, psychiatric disorders including depression,acute patients with chronic diseases associated with old age, pediatric cardiopulmonary asthmatic, nutritional disorder, diabetic growth disorders, home IV therapy, TPN
PROCEDURES (Examples):
Patient and family teaching and support (main objective). Tracheostomy care,suctioning, 02 administration, blood sugar monitoring, blood draws, catherization (male and female), injections, total care of bedridden patients, NGT insertion, GT care ,wound care, TPN infusion therapy.

Requirements
• Registered Nurse with a current Nursing license
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Western standard)
• Specific Certification as required in area of assignment
• Three (3) years current clinical experience in specific area plus two (2) years in comparable management position
• English Language Skills
• Arabic Language Skills
• Computer Skills: Proficient
