Job description / Role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage readiness plans for off-airport operations, ensuring all processes align with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Conduct regular readiness assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement, especially in relation to ground handling, ANS, and operational companies.
- Implement readiness initiatives that support seamless, efficient off-airport operations, particularly during peak travel periods.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including ground handling teams, ANS providers, and OpCos, to align on readiness strategies and operational needs.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels to ensure all teams are informed and prepared for operational changes or disruptions.
- Identify and implement best practices to optimize off-airport processes, ensuring they meet organizational standards for efficiency, safety, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing off-airport operations and contribute to maintaining a high level of operational quality.
- Conduct risk assessments for off-airport operations, identifying potential challenges that could impact readiness.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure continuity across off-airport functions.
- Track and report on readiness metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of readiness initiatives and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of readiness across off-airport operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in off-airport operations, with hands-on experience in ground handling, Air Navigation Services (ANS), and OpCos.
- Strong knowledge of off-airport logistics and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for effectively coordinating across departments and teams.
