Office Engineer Mechanical - Contractor

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting a skilled Office Engineer (Mechanical) to join and international contractor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working on one of the Kingdom’s mega building projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical engineering shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Assist in material submittals, technical queries, and approvals in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Support the site team with technical solutions, planning, and scheduling of mechanical works.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cost standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and project documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, with proven background in large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and mechanical systems.
• Previous experience with international contractors in the Middle East essential
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Preference given to those candidates already based in Saudi Arabia

Salary:
USD 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
