Officer, Credit Operations

Job description / Role

Our client is a national leading financial institution based in The Middle East. The are looking to hire an Officer, Credit Operations that will perform all the processing activities for the corporate and provide investigative, analytical, operational, administrative support to Corporate Banking in line with the organization's policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a direct supervision of Manage, Credit Operations and will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong and effective relationship with all other related departments and units to achieve the Group's goals / objectives.
- Timely review all corporate loan proposals, in accordance with set procedures for receiving, processing, checking and filing loans documentation.
- Liaise with Corporate Banking Department for the receipt of loan documentation and to resolve any issues / deficiencies, Group Compliance on Central Bank related compliance issue.
- Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.

Requirements

- Understand relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to corporate loan processing.
- Strong knowledge of the local / gulf environment.
- Analytical and problem solving skills coupled with decision making ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
