Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Supervise the human and technical resources to effectively achieve departmental production goals according to the manufacturing specifications and following the safety and environmental guidelines, as well as achieving product quality and process efficiency.
- Efficiently manage production planning for compounding section of the department.
- Ensure plastic compounding section meets the goals and objectives in terms of safety, employee development, quality, production, machine maintenance and environmental compliance.
- Define preventive maintenance strategy and manage all maintenance activities.

Requirements

- Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or Polymer Science
- Must have proven supervisory experience with minimum 5 years work experience in similar position. With hands-on experience with extruders, underwater palletizers.
- English language proficiency is required. Arabic language is a definite plus.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Interpersonal skills such as leadership, team building and communication.

The Company is in the process of establishing a reprocessed synthetic rubber materials and polymer compounds production and commercialization unit to supply reprocessed rubber materials and polymer compounds for industrial applications in the regional as well as export markets. The production facility is in advance stage of construction in Jubail, Saudi Arabia with an initial annual production capacity of the following product streams: 1. Reprocessed synthetic rubber materials 2. Prime polyolefin compounds and masterbatches 3. Modified materials derived from both elastomeric and plastic offgrade raw materials
