JOB PURPOSE
To create bold and creative strategies to ensure continuous collaboration in supply which will ultimately lead to growth and profit.

JOB DIMENSIONS

As an Operations Director at Careem, you will be taking full ownership of the four major factors people, product, growth and profit. You will make sure that the business runs smoothly between supply and demand by operations team work in synergy to create growth and fulfill supply. You will be the person overseeing the bigger picture and ensuring that Careem are always moving towards achieving growth. you will need to achieve what we never realized was possible through your people, product and budget.

JOB CONTEXT
- Accountable for all operational aspects in KSA and ensure operational excellence with regards to customer experience, captain loyalty, and financial efficiency.
- Be the right hand of the GM and drive creation and implement the supply strategy for your country.
- Build scalable processes and organization on country level to drive supply and growth according to budget and ensure market leadership.
- Build strong and deep relationships with Captains and other suppliers.
- Achieve ambitious OKRs and targets related to supply and Operations.
- Lead and drive the continuous improvement process and share best practices within supply for the city and drive coordination with the central organization.

Requirements

- Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, recruiting, training, business operations, analytics or customer service.
- Experience in people management and leadership.
- Strong analytical thinker with high problem solving capabilities.
- Action driven personality with experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable.
- Native in local language and English is a must.
