Job description / Role
They are looking to hire an Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Technical Consultant on a long term contract basis - this will initially be for 1 year but is highly likely to be extended.

Requirements
The role will focus on technical support and administration of Oracle BI applications. You will monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the auto refresh process of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence tools, systems and software. The (ETL) Extract, Transform, Load process must also be maintained. Other duties will involve designing front end BI applications according to user requirements.
Successful candidates MUST have solid Teradata and Data Warehousing experience and an excellent understanding of Business Intelligence, data mining and ETL domains. You should have extensive commercial experience with technologies such as star/snowflake schemas, OLAP cubes, Unix/Linux and shell scripting. Strong candidates will also offer some coding ability in languages such as Java, C or C++.
