Description

As an Oracle Data Center (OCI) Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our data center resources. You will collaborate with various teams to implement cloud solutions and best practices, and ensure the seamless operation of our infrastructure in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources, including compute, storage, and networking components.
  • Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring data protection and integrity.
  • Manage OCI identity and access management (IAM) to control user access to cloud resources.
  • Automate cloud resource provisioning and management using scripts and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI services and infrastructure.
  • Optimize cloud performance through monitoring and tuning techniques.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement cloud-based applications.
  • Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and ensure high availability of services.
  • Stay current with new OCI features and advancements to leverage in operational strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, storage, and compute services.
  • Experience with Oracle Database administration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications are preferred (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
