Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Order Taker to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction by efficiently managing food and beverage orders with precision and care.
- Handle incoming food and beverage orders from guests promptly and accurately
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure proper order fulfillment
- Provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions to guests
- Process payments and handle cash or credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of working well under pressure and maintaining a calm demeanor
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work atmosphere
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry practices is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a strong asset
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
