Job Purpose

Functions as an OSPAS expert on the Aramco operating system. Provides engineering and staff support to OSPAS and other operating organizations.

Responsibilities:

A. Acts as a Company expert in the field of Aramco operations.
B. Provides expertise and advice to the OSPAS Planning Divisions and the various Operating Organizations in the field as required to ensure optimum operations for satisfactory crude and product delivery.
C. Investigates and identifies bottlenecks in hydrocarbon operations which affect the economics of crude and product production and deliveries, and presents recommendations for improvement.
D. Advises and assists in the preparation of operating contracts between Aramco and other companies (Royal Commission ventures, SCECO, SWIC, etc.).
E. Reviews proposed plant modifications and additions to assess their desirability/feasibility from the overall operational standpoint. Suggests alternative strategies where appropriate.
F. Assists in developing the Master T&I-schedule to ensure that planned shutdowns are consistent with market demands and facility requirements.
G. Provides work direction to lower classified employees when required.

Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements:

A. B.S. in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
B. Twelve (12) years engineering experience preferably in Hydrocarbon Operations. 4-6 years of this should have been gained in one or more of Aramco's operational areas. 2-3 years of direct experience in OSPAS is also preferable.
C. Must possess a thorough knowledge of Aramco's operating system and business procedures.
