Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Outbound warehouse operations

- Aligning picking process with LSP (Logistics Service Provider) on daily basis, ensuring all orders are received and available on systems for dispatch.
- Ensure stocks are allocated based on FEFO to avoid any aging of stocks and regular investigation and validation to ensure FEFO is strictly followed.
- Review and approve the process of liquidation orders as per the request of the CS team and align for any deviation in writing.
- Daily review of outbound operations targeting no delays in orders dispatch.
- Make sure invoicing of orders in correct and happening on time and all bookings have been acquired.
- Returns management and closing of ARGs on time.
- Reporting of reason codes for returns and update return reason with the LSPs and sales teams.
- Coordinate between sales and warehouse to ensure return sales are processed as per agreed timings.
- Lead the annual cycle count as per the internal procedures.
- Make sure all activities are in line with IC protocols.
- Collection of Damages and Expiries from the market as per SOP and commercial finance process and align between the LSPs.
- Distribution and route planning
- Align daily distribution plans with LSP ensuring time lines are met for deliveries as per service levels.
- Investigate the use of transport management systems to minimize distribution cost and deliver highest service levels.
- Ensure LSP communication of daily dispatch report for the next day shipment for coordination between merchandisers and drivers.
- Daily communication with sales team about any hurdles to deliver the agreed-on service levels.
- Daily reporting of shipments against plans with reason codes for any delays if any.
- Plan redelivering of dispatched orders in case of justified rejection within the time-line.
- Maintain, analyze and review customer rejection with commercial and LSP.
- Review available fleet against forecasted volumes and minimize the use of spot market to minimize costs without affecting service levels.
- Ensure PODs are collected within time and updated in systems (Availability and accuracy)
- Peak and season planning
- Early plan Ramadan and peaks in terms of outbound process ensuring equipment availability versus plans.
- Align types & number of trucks, labor and working hours to deliver all orders within agreed on time span.
- Review plans on weekly basis and address any deviations from plans.
- KPIs and Reporting
- Responsible for monthly reporting of KPIs based on internal standards.
- Ensuring all KPIs are met and reason codes are available to explain the root causes for any deviation.
- Action plans for altering any deviation from the standard KPI norms.
- Review all invoices raised by the LSPs.
- Team Development and cross functional relation
- Making sure the team is highly motivated and is delivering all objectives.
- Plan trainings and development for the existing LSP team.
- Develop cross functional relationships, understand the overall objectives of the business and work closely to deliver all objectives.
- LSP Relation and contract management
- Manage the relation with LSP ensuring efficiencies and lowest costs.
- Run periodic meetings with LSPs to review performance and ensure service levels.
- Manage the contract with LSP through procurement and assist in bench marking and implementations.
- Challenge costs and drive projects to reduce the costs associated with Logistics Operations.
- Maintain team SAP and IT equipment in alignment with SAP and IT teams.
- Quality Assurance
- Communicate any quality deviation to the regional QA leader and act accordingly.
- Align the hold and release of the stocks with the Inventory specialist.
- Lead the QA assessment of the sites in self or external assessment.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Overall 7-10 years of working experience in Logistics Operations field in FMCG or LSP multinational company.
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Deep understanding of organizational and individual development
- Business acumen
- Strategic and analytical skills, ability to drive continuous improvement
- High emotional intelligence and Interpersonal Savvy, feedback skills
- Planning, priority setting, problem solving and monitoring skills
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Advanced experience in using PC - particularly Excel
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
