Job Description

Job Purpose

The main purpose of the Painter II's job is to paint surfaces of various products using electro-static powder coating plant, brushes or other spray equipment.

Accountabilities

- Change or replenish powder paint according to required paint color.
- Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary parts or parts on moving conveyor system.
- Prepare and clean surfaces of the product prior painting.
- Perform re-painting or apply touch-up to products.
- Clean work area and surrounding areas.
- Follow all safety instructions.
- Follows all applicable procedures and work instructions.
- Performs other task that may be assigned (only if trained on the task).
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Trade or Vocational School Graduate
- Having 1 year experience in coating powder and liquid paint.
- Appetite to learn new techniques and implement.
- Shall be industrious and adaptable to job requirements.
