Our newest opportunity is for a talented Permitting Manager - KSA National - to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi. This position is responsible for handling all permitting related to the assigned project.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Manage and oversee all Authorities submission, including but not limited to permits.
- Maintaining ongoing knowledge of permit requirements for area jurisdictions.
- The Permitting Manager will be responsible for handling all permits related to various projects.
- Establish and manage tracking of all project permits and submissions.
- Submitting and monitoring the progress of various permits submitted to area jurisdictions.
- Maintain required government certifications required to carryout the role.
- Organising and maintaining files relating to permit processes.
- Researching jurisdictional permits and planning filing requirements.
- Maintaining a database of critical jurisdictional decision makers.
- Ability to analyze complex codes and ordinances.
- Ability to read architectural and engineering plans.
- Strong technical understanding and design leadership is essential in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards.
- Strong team leadership with good soft-people skills essential in communicating directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team and other KEO staff.
- Strong time management and organizational skill is required to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, good understanding of English and good written grammar.
- A good knowledge of local materials, building techniques and the environmental conditions in the Middle East.
