Are you an experienced and qualified Pipefitting instructor? Are you looking for a new and exciting career opportunity to work overseas for a leading technical training provider?

My client is looking for an experienced and qualified Pipefitting trainer / assessor to join their team of technical trainers in Saudi Arabia. These roles are being offered on a 12 month contract and to start asap.

The Technical Instructor is responsible for teaching all aspects of the Technical Training programs assigned to them, materials development and managing the program. The Instructor is also the assessor for the programs. To deliver the curriculum and assess candidates to awarding body standards and support trainees to achieve their potential. Assist in the development of the curriculum as per the program needs.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
*Technical Instructors will Lead the classroom development and on-going maintenance of all training programs, course materials (theoretical and practical), procedures and assessments to
*Technical Instructors will have the duty to Ensure that the equipment in the workshops and laboratories are suitable and adequate in number to complement the training and assessment
*Assist in identifying and sourcing suitable redundant equipment from Operating Companies for training purposes
*Deliver Training
*Assess trainee portfolio's to the agreed External Verifier and Awarding Body standards
*Assist in the training, development and certification of trainees as NVQ Assessors
*Develop and manage teaching and assessment schedules
*Discipline the trainees he is responsible for when required
*Coach and train technicians where required
*Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
*Be active in suggesting ways of continually improving the training programs
*Uphold the Quality Policy
*Any other duties as reasonably required by Management

Requirements

POST REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications & Experience:

*Training qualifications: Pttls,Cttls,Dttls,CertEd,PGCE or equivalent or willingness to attend and be successful on a Train the Trainer programme
*Desirable: A1 assessor (D32/D33) or V1 (D34) (Internal Verifier) or IQA Internal quality assurer
*Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical) plus 4 years industrial experience as a trainer in the fabrication, installation and maintenance of piping systems or:
*Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in mechanical engineering (Pipefitting or Plumbing) or equivalent plus 11 years industrial experience in the fabrication, installation and maintenance of piping systems
Plus:
*Minimum 1 years experience in a training environment (Attained either in a college environment or onsite training of apprentices)
*Good English speaking/reading/writing skills
*Desirable: Middle East experience
*Good level of IT (Windows based applications) with ability to produce computer generated training resources
*Documented evidence of qualifications & training experience (References)

£31,584 - £40,608 DOE TAX FREE
