Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework.
- Ensure they understand and apply the WorleyParsons quality management system (EMS).
- Ensure design work conforms to applicable specifications, codes and standards.
- Prepare engineering piping models, drawings and documentation.
- Ensure checking procedures are adhered to before issue of drawings and documents, to ensure no rework due to errors in design.
- Maintain project history files and data in accordance with the WorleyParsons EMS.
- Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects.
- Adhere to project scope and schedules for design and drafting work.
- Assist and mentor trainee and junior designers in the project group.
Job Specific Knowledge:
- Designs for constructability, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
Industry Specific Experience:
- 6-7 years plus experience in the relevant industry.
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree of Engineering in the relevant field or equivalent
HSE Capability:
- Demonstrate high standard of personal safety, safe working practices and adherence to WorleyParsons
- OneWay procedures and Customer HES standards.
Requirements
IT Skills:
- Competent in CAD software, project specific database packages and Microsoft Basic packages.
People Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
Other:
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
