Plant Manufacturing Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated Plant Manufacturing Manager to lead and oversee the production operations at our tyre manufacturing facility in Jeddah. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient and timely production of tyres.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and policies to meet business goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements within the plant.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the manufacturing team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to maintain product standards and resolve production issues.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to inform management decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of tyre manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate and/or work in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
