Plumber

Job description / Role

• Repair piping of various sizes and types (e.g. Cast-iron pipes, galvanized-steel/iron pipes, copper tubing, plastic pipes of PVC, CPVC, and PPRC).
• Skilled to maintain repairs or replacements of water pumps, valves, pressure vessels, domestic water supply pumps, irrigation and fire safety system.
• Diagnoses problems and/or failure in plumbing systems for the purpose of identifying activities necessary to maintain equipment and system.
• Skilled for installations and repairing of plumbing systems and fixture (e.g. fire safety, water heaters, pumps, faucets, WC’s and valves) for the purpose of providing comfort, sanitation, and safety within facility
• Skilled with installation, repairing and maintaining above and underground storm sanitary and water piping system.
• Responsible for the cleaning of waste water lines, sumps and septic tanks by liaising with designated subcontractor wherever required.
• Prepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.)for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
• Capable to renovate plumbing systems for the purpose of complying with building codes and meeting accessibility/ functionality requirements.
• Carry out tasks such as but not restricted to, plastering, carpentry and associated linked to building maintenance works within guidelines and to service level standards with appropriate skills, knowledge and/or experience in accordance with the procedures.
• As directed by the Team Leader, participate in the Emergency call-outs cover outside normal working hours, on a Rota basis as part of the call-out team.
• Always keep Team Leader aware of progress and problems in a timely manner

Requirements

• A recognized Secondary School education with qualifications in relevant disciplines of the Plumbing field.
• Must be physically fit to work in the extreme climate of Saudi Arabia.
• Must have valid driving license.
• Must have beginner IT usage skills of Microsoft office.
• Must follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.
