Employment: Full Time

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A candidate with extensive experience using the SAP enterprise wide information management system, especially the 'Maintenance Management Modules' as applied to Preventive Maintenance programs in the Refining and/or Petrochemical Industries. The candidate must also be familiar with equipment description, terminology and technical jargon used in the afore-mentioned industries, have good statistical capabilities and excellent knowledge in generating reports from the SAP system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Develops and schedules preventative maintenance tasks in the SAP system.
- Liaise with members from the 'PM and the Technical Support' units of the Reliability department to determine the appropriate maintenance strategy and to assign 'PM task lists' which are appropriate for the equipment. For new equipment, these tasks are to be extracted from the manufacturer equipment manuals.
- Determine the optimum manpower and manhours required and the frequency of the PM activity in accordance with the approved Maintenance strategy.
- Coordinate with the OME to determine the most appropriate time to schedule PM activities for standby equipment or during plant turnaround.
- Determine the most cost effective way of grouping equipment for optimum utilization of manpower. (this can be either a single PM work order under one functional location, or as separate components in different orders).
- Generate monthly and statistical reports from the SAP for all maintenance programs.
- Review and file the PM return sheets. Extract the defects identified from the 'PM defect reports and officially advise the respective 'Reliability Unit discipline' for follow up and action as required. Issue PM faults tracking report.
- Monitor maintenance work in progress and update PM plans as necessary.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the different crafts for effective monitoring and control to improve performance.
- Review and generate weekly and monthly reports from SAP system on PM maintenance activities (PM overdue 30 day, 60 days and 90 days).
- Organize and manage all records, drawings and operation manuals so that they can be accessed in a timely manner

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

- Industrial College or high school graduate.
- 8 years experience in planning activities, scheduling and SAP utilization and in generating reports from the SAP system.
- Good understanding of the various types of equipment normally installed in heavy industries
- Knowledge of terminologies typically used in PM programs
- Awareness of plant process equipment & P&ID.
