Job description / Role
Playing a leading consultative role in CH2M’s Programme Management Office Team to help the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia deliver its ambitious transformation strategy towards its national vision of 2030.
Based full time in the Riyadh PMO Delivery office and working alongside principle policy making authorities, the role of CH2M’s PMO will be to streamline, oversee and provide top level guidance towards planning, designing and the execution of projects throughout the Kingdom.
As PMO Director your primary role will be to assist the client in leading a team of senior professionals operating in Project Management and Specialised Engineering Services. You will be responsible for setting up, management and operation of the PMO team to help lead formulation strategies across a number of municipality sectors.
The sectors in which you will be provide guidance cover Funds Management, Infrastructure Projects (drainage networks, roads, traffic management etc), Waste Management, Storm Water Management and Urban and Rural Planning.
Requirements
Acting as the main point of contact for CH2M you will be representing the PMO Team across a number of high level stakeholders.
Arabic speaking will be an important prerequisite in this role as you will be interfacing throughout a number of municipalities, advising on risk, engineering issues, industry and sector emerging best practices as well as sharing knowledge and skills across the client organization.
Successful candidates must be fluent in Arabic and possess a PhD or Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline and come with at least 20-25 years’ experience covering major design and build infrastructure projects. You will also be able to demonstrate successful dealings with government’s ministries, institutional and government entities.

Previous experience of working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be highly advantageous.
