PMO Project Manager (Saudi National) - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

CH2M is looking for a Saudi National PMO Project Manager for the Projects Department Improvement Programme for our client, the Saudi Industrial Property Authority. The opportunity entails working within the Projects Department to support the development of the Client’s programme management capabilities. The PMO Project Manager will oversee projects and manage design/build contractors on behalf of our client.

We are looking for a Project Manager with significant practical engineering experience of acting in program management roles on major infrastructure and Industrial projects within the KSA market.

The Project Manager is tasked with ensuring that the various projects are properly integrated and are delivered on schedule and to the required costs and quality using program management techniques. The individual will be required to report on the interactions, interdependencies, progress and quality of the various projects. At the same time be required to provide independent guidance to the client on the overall delivery of the projects within the industrial city including advice on how improvements can be made.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Comprehensive experience on the KSA market is required.

This position is reserved for a Saudi National. Successful candidates will have:
• 15 years of experience in infrastructure / industrial related projects
• Degree education and charted membership
• Experience in large size, complex scopes including multiple projects
• Ability to oversee and support project-level activity to ensure the overall program goals are met, by providing a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at project level
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of the program.
• An extensive experience using key Project Management disciplines (estimating, work planning, contract management, scope management).
• Focus on health & safety.
• Strong people and team management skills.
• Site supervision & consulting experience.
• Awareness of all construction disciplines with the knowledge of “HOW TO’
• Advanced knowledge of cost management.
