Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Define companies standard templates and project methodology to be adopted, considering quality assurance guidelines.
• Monitor the execution and track progress of the IT portfolio, track overall milestones, overall costs, overall risk and issues.
• Measure and report on budget and schedule deviations
• Create Dependencies Matrix and reporting Matrices
• Verify projects deliverables across all SDLC stages
• Verify the execution of stage-gate process and ensure the implementation of the quality findings and recommendations.
• Enforce the usage of entry/exit criteria for project phases
• Organize configuration management & ensure version control of all project deliverables
• Conduct review and facilitate document sign-off and approval processes for project deliverables
• Track and keep update risk and issue inventory for all projects and portfolio
• Follow up on the risk mitigation actions and assist the process where required.
• Verify that mitigate actions proposed are executed
• Develop and Manage a Portfolio level benefits register, ensuring that all benefits are planned, monitored and benefits realization is tracked
• Ensure Implementation of change control process across all projects
• Register the new IT initiative\project
• Participate and facilitate all Project Status meeting
• Provide project reports to Head of PMO when required
• Ensure that regular status meetings are attended by the applicable teams.
• Produce reports for each project and in summary for the project portfolio of the project’s levels of risks and issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Science
• ITIL Foundation Certification is a must
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar is a good plus
• Experience in working with Standard Project Management Frameworks
• +3 year of experience as PMO specialist (on banking context is preferable)
• +5 Years of IT Work Experience
• Good knowledge of project management principles and technique
• Good knowledge of project planning and estimation principles and technique
• Good knowledge of project progress status metrics
• Good knowledge of MS Project Management, MS Office, Project Management tools and techniques
• Good Knowledge of key aspects of Knowledge Management, development and maintenance of KM Repository.
• Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers
• Good communication (written and spoken) skills
• Strong problem solving skill
• Fluent English and Arabic spoken and written
